Last week, our year 13 students had the invaluable opportunity to participate in mock interviews. These were conducted by a panel of interviewers from a variety of careers, ranging from the NHS to building and construction trades. Students were matched with their choice of career and interviewed by someone in that field.
Despite some initial reservations and nervousness about meeting someone new, our students all performed to a very high standard and conducted themselves in a professional manner. They also agreed that it was a fantastic opportunity to practise their interviewing skills and that they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Feedback from the interviewers was extremely positive, with comments such as “very impressive” and “excellent questions,” which further demonstrates how well our students performed on the day.
A huge thank you to our interviewers, all of whom made it to the event on time despite the snow. This event could not have taken place without them. Also, a massive well done to our year 13 students. You rose to the occasion, both in attitude and attire. You all looked fabulous, and the event was a resounding success.
